So it's the big question that I'm sure us as young kids would not be able to discuss in the way us sophisticated young adults can so let's have at it. Also, I could only have 20 choices (so just select other and post).

I guess I listed more ska-punk bands because that's what I know, but I tried to pick out some variety from all the bands I know. There's a huge variety among what "most" (wikipedia) consider 3rd wave ska since most bands usually blend that style with another form. But for the sake of this poll we can be pretty lenient and say pretty much any band with clean guitars and/or horns and/or some strong upbeats from 1990 on is a 3rd wave ska band.

Also, fuck it, I'm taking the commercial success way out of this question (and I may look like a bastard) but, Less Than Jake wrote some kickass tunes and definitely hold true to ska form (obviously more so earlier and just here and there in their recent and rougher years). But at the heart of it, they wrote a lot of damn good songs and that's what matters most to me.

Obviously, we all get a little something different out of it so be free to write as much as you want. I'm bored and you all are more fun to read than reddit (just got into that in the past 6 months and "holy shit" is all i can say).

Also, no BTMI! (haha, I'm just kidding, but explain why you think they give the genre a good name)

I guess I'll go ahead and make the Shakira reference. There, now it's done.

Also, while European women aren't usually fat, most smoke, which is a huge turnoff for me personally. But really, what the fuck...it's just a one night stand anyways, so who cares at that point.

I went with Sublime because they are the only truly commercially successful 3rd wave ska band. But artistically it's gotta be Streetlight or BTMI/ASOB.

Bosstones have like 1 album. They are just like RBF. The Plug is easily the best.
