So I dated this chick for a couple of months at the beginning of the year. It was a going nowhere relationship and I was more pissed that she ghosted me, then I was the relationship was over. In fact the break up part didn't suck at all. Anyways she texted me out of the blue today apologizing for ghosting me, because she has recently gotten ghosted. And I just want to respond with "k", but I feel like that makes me a huge asshole.

random gee whiz nugget to revert back to the old UI for Chrome:

QUOTE
Simply go to the page for toggling Chrome’s experimental features by entering chrome://flags into your address bar, and change the “UI Layout for the browser’s top chrome” setting from “default” to “normal.” Once you click apply and restart the browser, Chrome’s tabs and search bar will look the way they did before.

The roommate thing is going about as well as one would suspect. Her pitbull mix, Jaeger, bit my chihuahua, Nessy. My wife saw it happen. Apparently, Jaeger had a toy in her mouth. When Nessy went up to Jaeger, Jaeger dropped the toy and clamped down on Nessy's head. Nessy didn't bark or try to take her toy. There was no obvious provocation. Nessy's skin on her face was separated behind her eye and ear. It was pretty sick looking when it happened. I thought she was going to bleed out, but somehow her skin folded back together enough for it to clot and scab over. The vet gave her antibiotics and pain medicine. They shaved her a bit. It was pretty disturbing seeing the outline of Jaeger's entire jaw around Nessy's head.

So yeah, we immediately separated them after it happened and told our roommate to find a new home for Jaeger. Since then, we've completely isolated Jaeger from our two dogs. Our roommate hasn't really said anything, but she did post some passive aggressive Facebook status update about how "ppl be scared of pitbulls like these demonic shits don't exist" with a picture of chihuahuas. Like, how or why would you post that after your pitbull wrongfully mauled your best friend's chihuahua?

I guess it's my fault for trusting that her dog was able to socialize with our dogs. I just hate how defensive pitbull owners are. I feel like if you have a dangerous dog breed that has the capability to maim and kill for no apparent reason, you should at least acknowledge that as a basic truth, but for some reason there's this weird hipster-y pitbull defense force that always want to project this insincere reality about their animals.

Like, I own a chihuahua. Yeah, she barks at everything. She can even be "a little shit", but you know, she can't horribly disfigure another dog or human being.

Oh, so the icing on the cake is that my roommate has a "service dog" vest that she bought on Amazon that she puts on Jaeger to take her to Wal Mart and shit...

Fake edit: This incident with Nessy is actually the first incident that we witnessed, but last week Charleigh (my coworker's dog) was bitten by Jaeger on the head as well. I didn't see it happen. I only heard her yelping for help and saw the gash on her head after it happened. At the time I assumed they must have just been playing rough, but it's clear now that Jaeger doesn't know how to play without seriously hurting someone.

And since this is my story, I'm going to be honest, I was mad as hell at Jaeger after what happened with Nessy. I wanted to take her out back and beat her to death with a shovel. I would have felt a lot better, probably. Anyhow, since I've had some time to cool down, I realize it's unfair to blame just the dog- It's totally my roommate's laissez faire attitude that is to blame as well.

I agree about pitbulls and their owners. Even if I concede to you that pitbulls are not more likely to attack than other dogs, my 45 pound dog isn't able to kill or horribly disfigure a grown adult. A pitbull very well could.

i can decide what pisses me off more, the fact that her dog is an untrained danger or that she is faking service dog with an untrained dog. either way she is a worthless piece of shit. the faster you kick her to the curb the better off you will be.

Since I only go to like one show a year I wanna ask you guys: when you buy a ticket online, you don't need to print it out if I just have the pdf on my smartphone and they can scan the barcode from there, right?

Great show, haven't seen 'em since like '08 or '09. Played EGN, then left the stage after the Saddest Song, like gee I wonder what happens next. Keasby Nights is still in Point/Counterpoint, thankfully. Also played Dear Sergio, SitB, and Watch It Crash, mmmaybe there was one more I forgot? I thought it was interesting they didn't play a single song from Thieves.

I also snagged a Mephiskapheles set list since nobody seemed to want it after the crowd cleared.
