why does mu computer screen keep freezing like this?

From what I can tell it has to do with my graphics card. Sometimes it will work for 15 plus minutes sometimes less than 5. All audio stops when it freezes like this.

so im in the market for a new video card. its got to be windows vista compatible. i don't play games on it, but i do run 1080 videos through it. and it should be VGA connector. also its going to be on a shit ton.

working fine, videos works fine. it just seems like it processes at less FPS than the old one. it makes videos look weird.

Have you opened your ports updated your drivers?

Also which videos are having problems? Web videos in a browser? Locals ones in VLC? Or both?
If it's just local, it might be worth looking into VLC's settings, see what Output is set to and maybe fiddling with it, or resetting the... settings.

ive been updating my drivers, but because its vista they dont let me do it automatically, i have to do it manually. its all videos that are doing it. the worse is when i watch the WWE network full screen, it gets real choppy to the point even the audio is affected. ill look into vlc outputs as that is what i primarily use.

I have no idea what i did, but everhting is working perfectly now. heres to hoping i dont fry this card in less than 6 years.
