What did I miss?

In my life: TypoMan is a pretty solid but hard game. The small dog Django is cuddling. The big dog that we found running in the street that we named Buddy Holly that we took in got out and ran in the street on my birthday and died. Had him for about half a year. sad.gif Uhh. My neighborhood blew up and got too expensive so we've been looking at houses and think we found an awesome one today. Also someone from my neighborhood, Leon bridges, was the musical guest. On SNL tonight.

Also iPads are hard to type on.

Has anyone seen these? Should I watch? They sounded interesting. But I heard of them from the woman who made them. On a podcast.

Of course there's a select few who have especially shitty times in high school, but I think that's an outlier.

I thought it was just the cool kids or something that enjoyed high school. It was a real disappointment to learn that I am in the minority in hating the fucking shit out of high school. Fuck high school still and I've been out of it 10 years. I look back at it with zero fondness.

fuck yes, i always assumed that the archive.org download was for the actual software. this is gonna be stoned time well spent, thx g.

Try out the two games I suggested. Goblins 3 and Prince of Persia (1989 or 1990, I seriously saw different things for the same game).

And tell me if you fare any better than I did.

Dude, what is it with this band that everyone always feels like THEY have to be their biggest fan?

I don't mean that as a slight against you or your buddy or anybody as I'm totally the same way, but I just think it's weird the way that Streetlight fandom is always such a competition.

Yesterday I was driving with a buddy from work who I knew was into them and I turned on THTT and then just caught myself one upping every show story he would tell me.

"Yeah man, I saw them with Less than Jake and Real Big Fish!"

"I was at the original album play through sets"

Shut up Dylan. Just seriously, shut the fuck up.

QUOTE (davey1212k @ May 30 2015, 09:02 AM) *
and my skankin response to this is:

Being at the original album play through sets makes me cool? Hell yea, I think I saw them like 3 times in TX where they only had 10 songs to play. If that's what you mean by play through.

EDIT:

Oh yea, and I know I was young at the time myself but holy shit does SUM 41 look young in that video.

Been rewatching 30 Rock over here.

Legit is a fun short binge watch. Only 2 seasons. Really funny though.

This was terrible. I've given up on SNL. Every time I've watched it the past two years it's been not funny and very boring (did not watch 40th anniversary episode though...should I???). Louis CK's monolouge was good, but for what I expect from him, it just was okay.

LOUIE, on the other-hand, is amazing and this might be the best season he's ever done. Dude is a genius.

Just started watching Better Off Ted on Netflix...a pretty good lighthearted comedy.

At the end of this season I decided Louie is my favorite comedy over Arrested Development. Still love the fuck out of Arrested Development though. The 40th anniversary episode is worth watching. And yes, SNL sucks dick, including the Louis C.K. episode.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is awesome.

New Bojack Horseman soon.

About to watch the Letterman finale from last night.

Been wanting to watch these first 2. Should I get on it? Also, haven't watched Letterman in years, should I watch the finale anyway? I saw Norm MacDonald on one of the last episodes and I love that man. If you haven't seen that clip look it up.

How do you save a game? I seem to not be doing it correctly. I'm playing Goblins 3 if that matters.

Found Prince of Persia (1990) and it's hard as fuck. Couldn't find Gremlins 3.

EDIT:
Just reread my first post and realized it's called Goblins. No fucking wonder I couldn't find it.

After a LOT of googling random shit to try to find out the names of the first few video games I used to play I found out I played Prince Of Persia (1989 or 1990, it was unclear) and Goblins 3: Goblins Quest (1993)

Anyone have a good safe suggestion on how to download these things? Get kinda nervous just downloading random installers.

I like my friend's band. They have a kickstarter to record an album. Their demos are pretty good.

New Alabama Shakes is pretty dope. Never really got into their first album, but they really nailed this one

I need to listen to it. The guy who recorded it, Blake Mills, was on WTF today.

Alabama Shakes live recordings were great off the first recording but the actual record sounded flat. I dunno if I'm expressing myself correctly.

Also, I'm listening to Express Yourself, the version Vicky posted.
