Recently got into playing games.

Favorites are: Dominion, Innovation, Pandemic, Catan, Ticket to Ride, Risk. Soon gonna throw in for a Twilight Imperium.

What other games should I be checking out?

Betrayal at House on the Hill is really fun

there's a really complicated risk-like Game of Thrones game that's cool if you're into complicated strategy games

my girlfriend really loves Settlers of Catan (which is hugely famous/popular, and you're already playing) and Carcassone

and a lot of people like Munchkin, which I found to be a little bland

the Firefly game may be tempting but don't fall for it, it's a letdown

I have more fun playing Clue than I ever thought I would

There's a Buffy board game that's actually pretty solid with tons and tons of replay value, good for party nights

if you're looking for a 2-player game I stumbled across a Batman Arkham City game that, against all odds, is one of my favorite games (not even because it's Batman... well not just because it's Batman).

if you're willing to move into card games, Smash Up is absolutely top notch, and I have this 2-player game called Skirmish which is really fun and has fast rounds

i'm pretty into board games, but they're expensive as shit so I gotta be choosy.

I can give better descriptions for all these if you want.

Also, while European women aren't usually fat, most smoke, which is a huge turnoff for me personally. But really, what the fuck...it's just a one night stand anyways, so who cares at that point.

oh and how could I forget fluxx. Fluxx has licensed some of the best properties, they have tons of versions and it's a really fantastic party game. I introduced that to my family last christmas and both my brothers-in-law, who are absolutely not board game people, loved it. Like, LOVED it. Went out literally the next day and bought a version.

and LINKEE is a fun party game too.

Exploding Kittens is a pretty fun and easy game that I've played a bit recently. Even better with the expansion pack.

This one? If so I played it once, pretty fun. And I won!

I'm gonna need more specifics on this, might make a good present.

yep, that one! It's fun but every time we play it takes like three hours to go over the rules for everyone. I like complex games but it could be a turnoff for some people.

looks like there's two, i'll try and figure out which one i played. my memory on the specifics is a bit fuzzy, but you pick a "season", and the big bad of the season is the main boss for the game. One player controls the monsters, including the big bad (who may show up at the beginning, or objectives may have to be met until he shows up) and all the other monsters (again, depending on the season... could be spike, or darla, or whoever was a bad guy that season) and everyone else picks one of the gang to control on their own. So everyone is cooperating against the person controlling the monsters.

You have a big board of sunnydale you can move across based on movement speed, you can collect items and weapons and artifacts, you roll dice and add modifiers to determine attack value, you have health stats, etc.

it's kind of like buffy themed d&d-lite. i'd recommend it for anyone who's a big buffy fan, especially if they're into board games. and the co-op aspect is a nice change of pace from a lot of board games, too.

i know it's definitely not this one

https://www.amazon.com/Buffy-Vampire-Slayer...uffy+board+game

and i'm pretty sure it's this one

hthttps://www.amazon.com/Buffy-Vampire-Slayer-Game-Board/dp/B00004TJV6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1502578467&sr=8-2&keywords=buffy+board+game

so... try and find it for less than $90 i guess. a local shop will probably have it at reasonable prices.

e: just did some more digging, the one i played is definitely the second one, no idea if the first one is any good or not. and i don't want to make it sound too basic, there's a lot of fun buffy style complexities, like people can become vampires and join the evil side, or angel can switch from angel to angelus, or there's a pseudo-randomized moon phase counter and if oz gets stuck outside when the full moon hits, well you can guess what happens. it's fun.
