My friend’s band got invited to do a audiotree session. They are really damn good and I think some of you guys would really dig it.

Ok I’ll do the only other way, I just sent the track to my friend and he said he’d record it with me. I’m buying a house and traveling for 2 weeks so expect no progress until late August.

Remember that BTMI Vocal Coach contest? Did we ever find out who won that? I always thought they would release it for us to hear. Oh well, those were fun. Anyone know where those recordings are? I did one and kinda want to cringe.

What's really grim about this is that he was found close to the forth road bridge the place he sung about in "Floating in the Forth" saying he'd "save suicide for another year"

Is no longer with us:

Not to compare this to other musicians deaths but it’s never been someone who’s music meant so much to me as his. Hard to process.

1) Fortnite is actually optimized
2) Fortnite is free
3) Fortnite is totally better

To piggyback on this thought though I actually like both games they are just very different games that require different skill sets. I’ve just found myself enjoying Fortnite much more. Pubg is a much slower game and can be frustrating taking a long time to find a lobby and to actually get into the plane and then drop and loot for the first 5 minutes only to get eliminated and have to do that all over again. Fortnite lobbies are much quicker almost always only wait 10 seconds to get into the bus and you drop right into instant loot and encounters with other players.

I’ve played a lot more pubg than fortnite though so maybe it’s too early to tell which is better but at the current moment I enjoy Fortnite more. Building has a serious learning curve.

Did any of your ever watch Legion? New season starts in April. Definitely my favorite show of last year.

Also Crashing was really good both seasons.

Anyone watching runaways? It's really good, it's the first time I've felt like hulu tried to make a real TV show instead of just a glorified web series.

It's really slow though, I'm on the third episode and we still haven't seen more than hints at super powers. So I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't really pick up new viewers. Still though, it's good.

I loved the comic maybe I'll check it out.

I just picked up Arkham City and Arkham Knight on sale on steam cause I only ever played Asylum. But I've been playing a lot of PUBG. New Hearthstone expansion just came out so I'll probably be playing that a lot more. Also Overwatch. I have too much shit to play and not enough time.

QUOTE (?Rorshach? @ Jul 21 2017, 04:25 PM) *
I'm a little jealous.

My little brother is 17 and he came and stayed with us last week. Dude is super, crazy good at trumpet and yesterday I showed him Streetlight. It was super cool because,

1.) It's fun being big brothery and showing him stuff I think is cool/thought was cool when I was his age.

2.) I don't think he had ever heard anything like that. Like, he plays all these insano band competitions and fucks around with pop song trumpet parts, but as far as cool/rock stary trumpet gigs, I think he thought the coolest thing he could do was play funk with the line cook at his work.

3.) Bar none, the coolest part, was that it was the first time in my life where my little baby brother like, knew more about something than me. We were listening to SiTB and he would point out all the crazy shit the brass was doing and even like, recording tricks and subtleties I had never noticed before. It was really, really neat and just so much fun.

So yeah, super cool time and may have finally broken me out of my 4 year "this is our last show" grudge.

It was a fun show they played Blonde Lead the Blind which I guess they've never played or some shit. Also Soprano returned for the OG SitB lineup and they basically played all of SitB.
