Fucking failure in life. I wish I could fight him IRL to permanently put him in his place.

list of reasons he sucks:

- friendzoned by his former bandmate
- the most stereotypical pothead ever. He literally hits every mark on the 'stereotypical pothead checklist'.
- Naughty List. Need I say more?
- Clothes
- Impolite synesthete. He will argue this point, but in an impolite manner thus proving my point like the shithead he is
- Dirty beard and awful haircut combo. This is skankin's territory, bub. You can't pull it off like he can.
- Nothing is ever his fault, ever
- Next to Klonny, his posts are the most inane and TLDR
- Fuck this kid

QUOTE (SkankinLibrarian @ Jun 23 2014, 04:04 AM) *
hockey is simple, throw the puck into the corner and chase after it. hit each other really hard till the puck squeaks free, then throw it along the boards again. until eventually it reaches a defender not against the boards. then shoot at the net and hope it deflects in.

hockey in a nutshell.

Maybe its because I timekeep 12 to 15 games of hockey a week but this is just a bad description imo.

Youre describing one incredibly small facet of the game. Itd be like reducing baseball to pitcher v batter, or strategic pitching changes, or soccer to corner kicks. Most hockey happens in open ice on the rush, not bogged down in corners. SOME games are very chippy in close type games, while others are very flowy, european and russian teams tend to play a more cyclic type of hockey where they arent constantly halting their momentum, and that infiltrated the nhl back in the late 70s post the summit series. Usually any half decent hockey game has an even mixture of both.

Also av-9850[1].gif at make the ice black. If you have hd tv and still have this complaint you're ridiculous. Also the implied position of the puck is some times all you have to go off of while actually playing the game, little ridiculous to complain about having to do that while watching. The relative size of a soccer ball on a pitch v hockey puck on a rink is pretty similar. and ball? wtf have you even watched a game of hockey? its a goddamned puck.

2 amazing minutes of hockey more fun to watch 6 years after the fact than any world cup game live. and its a perfect example of hockey completely unlike skankins description.

i tried not to post this but im too Canadian not to.

edit: also were well aware that our game is so fast that anyone used to watching soccer or baseball or football or rugby cant keep up, which is why Canadians invented instant replay. Seriously.

edit2: making the ice black wouldnt work because snow is white. they tried it with dark blue but it makes it difficult to track players sticks, including your own, and in general just doesnt work or make it any easier to track the puck.
