So ive been watching goose's Speedlore series im like 9 or 10 episodes in. I have no idea why, but i find speed running, and the history of it so interesting. I have zero interest in doing speed running, nor does the idea of watching a person try for a WR or PB repeatedly sound fun. Summon Salt has some great videos on speed running history as well.

Bohemian Rhapsody is good even if it is a blatant rip off of The Buddy Holly Story

I just got sinemia so I'll probably make this one of my movies for the month, hopefully sometime next week. I'm really glad to hear it's so good, I think it was interesting they went with miles as the protagonist but I absolutely loved the trailers

Fuck, I miss MoviePass. So much of this year was spent at the movies before the chaos started. I'm interested in Sinemia, but at the same time, I'm not ready to get hurt again.

I hear you dude, I loved moviepass when it was good

When black friday came around, sinemia was offering crazy good deals so a friend bought me a year as an x-mas present (ended up paying $70 for a year's subscription at 3 movies a month), but even paying out of pocket if you find a decent deal on it it's hard to get too burned

we all knew moviepass's unlimited movies every month for ten bucks was too good to last, but the sinemia plans... *maybe* those are sustainable.

I saw the Mule yesterday. I liked it. Man, Clint Eastwood is old.

Also started watching American Horror Story. Honestly, not impressed by the first episode. It seemed kinda hokey. Maybe it'll get better, but I don't see why people loved it so much back in the day.

I never really got the hype. I think it was just sort of extra violent/disturbing compared to everything else that was on TV at the time, so it sort of mainstreamed mediocre horror for a minute.

I never watched that show almost exclusively because they name their serial killers terribly.

lmao rubber man cracked me up. You've got a couple that is trying to get past an affair that hasn't had sex in a year, and the first time they do it is in a *used* fully body latex suit they found in the attic. That part cracked me up.
Watched episode two last night. It was a little bit better than the pilot but still mediocre.

It gets worse. The first season is the only one I could stand to watch, and I think I got halfway through it before I called it quits. I tried to pick up some of the later seasons and they were equally not good.

Well... that's not entirely fair I guess. I didn't watch every season and I don't think I watched any (except maybe the 2nd) from the beginning, so I don't know if they're ALL bad... but I wouldn't put much faith in them.

People seem to like it, so that's cool, but there was so much about it that was intentionally vague and confusing, and so much of the horror just came from shock/disturbing stuff, which doesn't really excite me, just disturbs me.

Anyone watched The Haunting of Hill House? Judging by the demographic that's hyping it up I'm assuming it's sorta the same deal.
