Finally had the opportunity to see Black Panther. Really enjoyed it. Lots of cool stuff, maybe the worst anyone can say about it is that it's a bit predictable, but that's gotta be expected. Boseman really did a great job and they made Black Panther really cool in his own right, not just "The black guy in marvel comics who isn't luke cage"

Also got to see wonder woman since it hit hbo, it was alright. Didn't think it was great, didn't think it was very bad, probably the best of the current DC movie universe. I haven't seen justice league, though I suspect it won't top wonder woman. Chris Pine is so weird to watch, because at any given time it'll feel like he's totally phoning it in and doesn't care at all, then the very next scene he'll knock it out of the park.

Also, while European women aren't usually fat, most smoke, which is a huge turnoff for me personally. But really, what the fuck...it's just a one night stand anyways, so who cares at that point.

I liked Wonder Woman better than Black Panther.

However, I am very excited for Black Panther 2: The Resource Curse

Did any of your ever watch Legion? New season starts in April. Definitely my favorite show of last year.

Also Crashing was really good both seasons.

Black Panther beats Wonder Woman, in my opinion.

I think I'd agree, but I find DC movies tend to go on for too long, outstay their welcome. I loathed Dawn of Justice except for, like, the last hour because the setup leading to the big fight was sooo drawn out and boring and why the fuck is Jessie Eisenberg Lex Luthor?

Still, I wanna watch JL but not if I have to pay almost $2 at the redbox

If you watched/liked Futurama, this is seriously better than some of their poorer episodes. I just sat and listened to it and died laughing about a dozen times.

Edit: it's literally just a Futurama episode without the animation. The writing quality is fucking on point.

The 'heavily greased staircase'...omfg.... hardest I laughed at any Futurama joke since the original airing of the original run.

Been watching Lost in Space... It’s ok I guess. The people are all pretty unlikeable.

Yeah lost in space hits this weird spot where it's not really good enough to keep me actively engaged and sit down and just watch it

But it's not bad enough for me to put on as background TV either

I expected a bit more humour after seeing it labelled as a dark comedy-drama. Found it enjoyable but nothing amazing. Not sure I would've been too bothered with it if it wasn't so short.

I'm digging Lost in Space. Without spoiling much, I looked it up on Wikipedia. I didn't realize it's essentially a reboot of a series from the 60's which is based on The Swiss Family Robinson (which was written in 1812).

Dunno about Lost In Space, but I saw Final Space since it just ended its first 10-episode season. Its well animated with great special effects, the storylines, action, drama is all top notch, but fuck the writers don't understand comedy. I suppose a raving lunatic lead with constant monologues helps soften the blow of the show's more serious themes.
